We must start off by announcing that SILK FLOWERS ARE NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE!  In fact, the correct term to use for silk/artificial flowers is now permanent botanicals!  Thankfully, this product has come a long way and here at Calla Lily Designs we feel every house can benefit from a little "pop" of greenery here and there.  In our climate it is very difficult to successfully grow indoor plants (kuddos to those of you with a natural green thumb).  We believe it is much better to have a beautiful "silk" tree in an empty corner vs. a half yellowed hardware store palm that needs to be replaced almost monthly.  There are a few TV designers who have made quite a big deal about how against "silks" they are...but we assure you-once you walk around our store and touch and see our florals you will be a believer!  Our signature custom floral style is potted grasses, ferns, mixed succulents, vines and sticks and green spheres.  Although we create many vibrant floral arrangements, natural looking greenery is our most popular!
